2018 LONDON BOOK FESTIVAL HONORS “YOU WERE BORN TO SPEAK” FOR TOP PRIZE

LONDON_ A man who learned to overcome his fears of public speaking and find success is the top prize winner of the 2018 London Book Festival, which honors the best of international publishing.

Author Richard Newman’s You Were Born to Speak (self-published) takes readers on a quest to overcome a crushing fear of public speaking and discover the secrets of successful communication.

Newman’s adventure reveals the insights he gained while living in a Tibetan monastery in India, where he learned non-verbal communication from monks, then studying storytelling and stage presence at a prestigious London acting school. The resulting lessons gave him the confidence to go on and give 1000 business presentations for a Formula 1 racing team and teaching 50,000 clients all over the world.

His remarkable journey is a captivating book that will help anyone overcome their barriers to success.
